FULL MOON EQUINOX
Easter Saturday & Sunday Dancefloor open at 6pm Malvern Hills Rd, Colgate In the path of the year; on the arc of the sun; once again M*A*S*S*I*V*E sets up to celebrate the autumn Equinox. A moment of celestial balance when the day is as long as the night. This year’s celebration meets up with the rising of a full "Harvest Moon". A special line up has been set to match this cosmic tale. A rhythmic journey: from the light of day to the darkness before dawn. Through moon shadows, falling stars and melodic dreams, this dance evokes the stories of old. Of magic nights and connected feeling, all people dancing together as one. So join us in the timeless traditions, find your feet, find balance and let your fears slip away. This is a Full Moon Equinox with a special mission to raise public awareness about a destructive dairy irrigation scheme. Proudly supported by Djs & Artists: Anubus, Fat Albert, Invader Tron (Live), Is & Been, Massive Sound System, Mute_Continue, Psilo, Schiller (Live), Sinclair, Speedy, Willie Tickets From Hunters & Collectors $30 pre $40 gate (Full weekend) Plus on Sunday after Psilo's set M*A*S*S*I*V*E is proud to support the: Malvern Hills Protection Society FESTIVAL OPEN DAY FUNDRAISER Easter Sunday 11am - 8pm Malvern Hills Rd, Colgate Bands, Stalls, performers, food, This special corner in Canterbury, The Malvern Hills, embraces the wooded hills from Homebush, to Coalgate, Glentunnel and Whitecliffs. The Selwyn River wends its way out of the foothills down to the sea and the Harper Hills serve as a look out to the Southern Alps. Nestled on the edge of The Malvern Hills is the Waianiwaniwa Valley, a lush, productive valley and home to some of Canterbury´s first settlers. This idyllic setting may soon disappear however, because this quiet but industrious little community is under threat from a private company's proposal to build a massive irrigation scheme in Central Canterbury..... Haha I'm so there. Thing is I can't see why the Malvern Hills Protection Society would want a bunch of rinsed-out feral ravers scaring away the general public at their open day festival...however, no matter...Equinox should be bloody good. =]
