RL'rs, What are you doing thursday nights? I know you'll be on PALTALK! from 7pm-10pm
Okay a few of the Rl'rs here and I were discussing this during my mixshow today, and we've decided on thursday nights, from 7pm-10pm pacific time :-P I will be opening up the RL chat room on paltalk, I know some of you might think it's stupid, some of you might like the Idea, some of you might already have the program (kudos to you guys), for those of you that don't know what paltalk is, go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], or you can briefly read on about it here in this message.
Paltalk is a chat/messenger program, similar to AOL INSTANT MESSENGER similar to all those messengers, but what sets paltalk apart is that, they've managed to combine, VIDEO, AUDIO, MIC USAGE, all in one, and have integrated it all together into a chatbased program. You can do all 3 things @ once in a chat room, yes a chat room, someone will have the mic for "X amount of minutes" they can mix, sing, chant, or whatever the hell they want to do, Rooms are based on ratings G - A, G being rated G like a movie, R, for adult theme, and A for like WHOA NUDITY STATUS, but all and all, this program is good... There's a downside, to all good things, there's always a catch 22, Although the program is free, you are allowed to buy a blue screen name, or a green screen name.
The blue screen name allows you to view videos choppy, but you can see them moving, and you can be in multiple rooms, The Green Screen name is quite pricey but worth it in the long run, full motion video, no choppiness, no nothing, no restrictions really, and you can also go into an unlimited amount of rooms and you can open i think up to 13 webcams @ once, it's great, but, like i said the catch 22 is, with the black name, you get alot of ads on the bottom of the windows, sometimes they enlarge themselves on your screen and IRRITATE the SHIT out of you, like seriously, it's pretty bad, but, they aren't always like that, usually they are just on the bottom not bothering anyone, and they don't usually bother... Okay now to the post, I'm thinking of opening up a chat room named, RAVELINKERS GET-AWAY, OR RAVELINKS OFFICIAL ROOM OF TUNES, OR RAVELINKS OFFICIAL PALTALK ROOM... The combinations are endless really, it's up to you guys what you want it to be, I will be admin in the room, I will be able to appoint other admins as well in the room to run the room, I'm going to be looking for someone that will be willing to support the room, and keep it open all the time, and make sure bad things aren't happening in it, or stuff like that (I will get into further details about later) so anyways, I'll be having Dj's and stuff come into the room and dj'ing for us, Mind you there are wanna-be's on that website like a Dj Tiesto screenname is floating around, an armin, ferry, and a few others, but i'm sure you guys know they wouldn't be spending their time on that silly program. Okay, so either way, it'll be a thursday weekly thing from 7pm-10pm, I will be spinning, and a few others if they want to, it's not going to be anything big, i mean, c'mon its' just internet lol, but i mean it's free, and what are you guys really doing thursday nights? We can also get other dj's from around the world spinning there, alot of my friends from the UK that are on paltalk, are really good dj's as well, I'm
Either way, i'm going to try to have you guys download this, if you guys want, if you don't it's all good, I'm just trying to expand the chatroom and make it a meet up where us RL'ers can go when we have nothing to do? you know? so try it out, if you don't like it, it's okay, it's not the end of the world, but I figured i'd do something nice for RL since you guys have been so nice about treating me so well, and listening to my mixes, and downloading, and comments, and watching my shows, I really appreciate everything, everyone, and all the things that have came to me from you guys from the bottom of my heart =) Thank you guys.
