Give Love- "A Cancer Awareness Valentines Event!" (Valentines Weekend 2/10/07)
EVERYONE CAN GET IN FOR FREE (no gimmicks)... IF YOU DONATE blood on
Friday the 9th, at the University of Southern California, LA. Anyone
can donate, upon completion of the on-site application. Donations will
be taken at the MARK'S HALL, from 12PM - 5PM. Arrive early, djs will
be provided while you dance your blood away!

SEE some LOVE:
Bootys will be shakin', and breakers will be breakin', to our 50,000
Watts of power. Concert and Massive Sound Installations, with
Turbosound/Cerwin-Vega Subs and JBL Subs and Tops.
As with every TYCO event, the production will be well above par.
Stunning production including: FULL Concert Staging and Go-Go Tables,
Truss Heart, Intelligent Lights, Pars, Data-Flashes, Smoke and Lasers.
We WILL make the news!!! We will also have party-friendly
videographers, filming behind the scenes and on the dance floor for an
upcoming DVD, debuting in March '07.

I personally never had the pleasure or displeasure of working with you....

but this is cool. probably the coolest thing I have seen out of a production crew... ever. ive been around for a long time and ive never seen a crew actually go out and try to make a difference in the community. if no one else tells you....i will...

yes its safe.....it takes your body like an hour to replace the amount they take out. thats why they make you chill there for like 30 minutes after you give...to make sure you are ok.

My motivation for this show, is my dad. He was diagnosed with lymphoma (stomache) cancer in '03. He went through a lot of battles with recovery, at the early age of 46. Once he was accepted to The City of Hope, he was admitted and underwent massive stem cell treatment. After the process, only time would tell if he would survive. Alas, now almost 4 years later, I'm glad to say he's as alive and dancing as ever. Although he doesn't have all of the energy he had before (chemo side-effects), he's now living a healthy and longer life, all thanks to the City of Hope. Thus the SOUL basis this event was created in '04. In attempt to generate the awareness of cancer and the revolutionary treatments, as well as to give the scene a better outlook to the nation. Not only does our blood drive save a few lives each year, but it also educates those who wouldn't normally be inspired to donate, by unveiling how easy the process is. Hopefully it will encourage those donors to share their knowledge with others, and in turn will keep the cycle going. I can honsetly say that thanks to The City of Hope, my kids will one day meet their Grandfather.
