So ya....where were you 2 at? I was downstairs in the main room all night. Freaking awesome rave! I had my whistle possie going!

Also, You TN kids should be lucky you actually have an all age thing, most raves are 18+ and thats why you see your candy kids in their 20s-30s. The "kid" in "Candy Kid" does not mean you can only be a candy kid ages 15-18. There is no age limit because it's not supposed to be looked at like a "phase in life". It's it own unique lifestyle within rave culture. I dont understand why noobs dont do any research on the scene.

the event was sold out. so we went to club play on church street. they played house/trance music

and that was like one of the very very few all age events in nashville. that is not a normal thing. its usually all 18+ or 21+

and that club is mainly for skater type kids. was rare that they threw an electronic music event. i saw a few 13 year olds outside though

We got there an hour in advance, and there was already a line forming. Since I am with the GA peeps, I got to go in the venue and wait till closer to opening time to go get in line. It was fun though, the people, including me, that were in line at the venue would blow our whistles to the ppl across the street in line, and they would blow theirs back! They sold out at 1,000 people. We were packed in that little basement area where the Happy Hardcore and other hard forms of dance were. There was no air conditioner, and everyone looked like they had just taken a shower with their clothes on from all the sweat. They had 1 little fan hanging from one of the beams. And the whistle possie was amazing! So many people were blowing whistles! There was one point where a lot of us got into our own little group on the floor and just stood there blew blew blew as loud and long as we could!

Well, it is a rave, gotta have whistles and an air horn. Especially if its Happy Hardcore. go on youtube and run a search for hullabaloo or One More Group Hug and you will hear what a real whistle possie sounds like!

no i know what it sounds like...this party in atlanta years back there was a bunch of kids blowing whistles and this guy runs up snatching all of them and built a pile of whistles in the middle of the room and set them on fire.

Ya, its a good thing all that's in the past. Here in Atlanta, we have returned back to the old warehouses after the closing of the Globe. Me & my friend Whitney are the only two that blow whistles though. Can't stand people who are assholes at a rave. I just want to ask them, "Why did you even come into our culture then?"

you use to go to the globe? i did too while back, then it closed down. then i heard it had reopened. theres that place...then mark ultra lounge, the loft, swerve, THE MASQUERADE

well there are assholes every where u go. cant really get away from them. i have met many butthole ravers, and butthole hippies at events. i just hate to see when ppl who have been going to shows for a while diss on people that don't dress like them or act like them at a event. they're just trying to have fun.

No, I havent been to the Globe, I was too young, but I have been told stories of the Globe. I started raving in 2005, and I believe the Globe got closed in 2003? 2004? Sometime, lol. They re-opened it as a hip hop club, but in 2006, they held like a rave there called, "Back to The Future" and it was sorda a rememberance rave for Kid Dynamite or something to do with him.
