Knoxville has 3 new venues trying to make a mark:

Thursdays we have BASSICK:
sounds like it is going to be heavy on the dupstep but got a nice mix of other genres. Will be bringing in acts that are not just local. Ana Sia, Tx300, Midnight Ace, Chris Grass, Oreo, just to name a few in the next few weeks. Also locals like Dialectic Sines, JMo, and Spooky Jones. $5 normally.

Next up we have Lush. I'm not sure how often they will have these nights but so far it looks like every other Friday. They've had halfoff sushi and $2 pbr's so far. Lots of house/electro dj's. 3 rooms, 1 of them is a heated patio. Also they ushered in Crystal Method for Halloween. Dj's Brendel, James G, Matt Waters, and more. Next night is Nov 13th. It's free! And finally Saturdays is Level 10. I have been promised there will be some dnb!!! The 1st night nov 14 will have Atlanta's Chris Grass, Jmo, Randombeat, and Etoain. Breaks, dnb, dupstep, and house. They have been asking around for who they should bring so hopefully they'll get in some big names soon.
