Texas people What up??!
Hey, just wanna do a little rollcall thread to see whats up in Texas and Who is Where?
Everyone should say who they are, and where they live, and their favorite style.... and maybe something funny about themselves. My name is Emily. I am 21 and I live in San Antonio. i love uhhhhh EVERYTHING but at the moment I'm currently jamming out to local DJs in my area that I've never heard.. and the new TOOL cd. What Up emily!!
I Was born in Lubbock moved to Socal bout a year ago and now find myself in Austin....Have to say Prodigy is a dealbreaker here but I also like breaks and funky house styles....NEways how is the scene in SA?

ello. my name is Pat. im one of the most murkiest murkmen from murkdom on a thursday which is a murkin day. and i will straight murk you, word.
im from D-town. just got back here from nacogdoches attending Stephen F. Austin university which sucked ass. i now have a greater appreciation for the ease with which a good electronic dance music party or venue can be found within reach of my city. i kinda took the place for granted but now ive fallen back in love with it, and its getting me in trouble because of that ^.^ i likes: Drum n Bass, Psytrance, Dubstep, Nu school breaks, bangin house, downtempo chillout, and the song "deep" by tc and jakes which is darkness. I dislikes: hardstyle. i must have eaten too many E's cus at one time i actually enjoyed that shit. what the scene needs: organization. there is tons of talent and good promoters but they are all acting kinda independently and the parties are thrown with disregard for whatever else is going on that night. if the texas scene had more organization we could start throwing massives more than just once per year at Meltdown. We also need more outdoor psytrance campouts with just more than shivashakti promoting it because frankly right now they can't afford it  . if anyone has ever been to an outdoor trance campout they know that nothing compares.
