Snoopin' for the scene...

So, I've recently been looking for something to do in the Austin area as this is the first time since I've been in the area that I've really had time to start looking around to get reconnected. Of course I like undergrounds more than klubs, but since I don't really know many people in the area I'm kinda just putting my feelers out. So, last night I checked out "Sky Lounge", which seems to be the place that gets the headliners when they're doing an Austin show. Next week I plan on heading to Houston (another place I've never been) to see BT spin at a club called Rich's.

Just searching for events at MySpace and found a house p@rty coming up this Monday night here in Austin: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
I'm thinking about check1ng it out if anyone here is going, or knows anything about it.

Any advice for a n**b would be much appreciated,

I was seriously thinking about going to the Second Sun show at Sky Lounge this Friday, but I couldn't pass up on BT. Has anyone here been to Rich's in Houston? It looks kinda "slick" from the website.
