First time there and compaired to clubs from md it was bad ass. looking for the dj safara ? he said he had a myspace page but can not find him. thin i am spelling his name wrong not suprised if so.

Hey guys, this was my first time at The Silo, and you guys know how to party!!! I will definitely be going back for more as events show up! One question though.. was the place raided at around 4 o'clock? The cops were acting funny when we were leaving, and I saw a bunch of kids sitting in "time out".


I took a few interesting pictures of the fire poi, but the lighting was so dark.. I did manage to get a few decent ones though. Give me a few day or two to recover, and I'll upload them for all of you! Anyone else got pics? I saw a few cameras!

Thanks! Unfortunately, I don't see many "active" people on the forums. Is this place new? Give it time.

I'm not "from" the boot state, it's only where I currently reside! I've lived many places, and will live many more. I go where life takes me, and unfortunately, it took me here.

I went to this one and this was my first time.

It was so amazing! I was loving it! I was in awe at how much fun I was having. but I didn't get to stay because the people that I brought were assholes and wanted to go home. I paid for both of them to get in and they screwed me over. We had only been there for about an hour and a half. "We want to go home. It's late and we're tired." I was pissed. Of course it's freaking late! We left at 11:30pm, what the hell did you expect idiots? I told them I planned on being there until early in the morning before we even departed. They both knew this. They both knew what they were getting into. I wish that they never came. It would have saved me $36 (not counting gas) and I could have stayed the whole night.

-I drove to my friends house to pick him up. It was only supposed to be him, but out of nowhere he pops up "oh my sister wants to go. Can you take her too?" Ok fine. I agreed to take her. (and we live in Rosenberg texas. it's not far from Houston, but it's not exactly next door)
-I drove them to pick up their drugs (which I refused to take part of because I was the driver....and I'm responsible like that.)
-I paid for both of them to get in. (I didn't get a dime for gas, or the entrance fee...but yet they could buy drugs?)

then "We want to go home."???
You guys should have seen my face that night. You would have thought that I was possessed. What can I say? I'm just too nice. Not anymore though. I'm young and naive (18) and I learned my lesson. Don't let your "friends" screw you over.

oh might I add that they asked me to stop at McDonald's on the drive to take them home?!!!

It's actually a much longer story than this, but I won't go into because I've already bitched enough. Sorry about that long rant.....

Anyways, next time I go anywhere with anyone, I'm not giving rides. They'll have to meet me up there if they want to go.

I learned my lesson. I'm ready for the next one!

Wow! Sorry to hear about that! No offense to anyone.. but were they potheads? My roomate wants to come next time, but I'm afraid that he'll be too much of a party pooper if you know what I mean.

Props to you driving sober. Not enough people think about stuff like that. Well, I hope you have more fun next time you go out! This past one was the 4th, and final of the Giza series. :-/ I loved "The Silo" though, and I hope that they have at least one more party over there before the year is over. Just stay tuned....

I'm sure they will have one more event there for the year, and I KNOW they'll have more events there in the future.

Now you all see why I like to go to events ALONE, and why I hate my friends and why I don't include them in the EDM scene.
