no raves. festival de la paz is coming up, that's kind of like a 'rave' i guess.

there are some events coming up soon, but they are not really concidered raves.

Nocturnal Indulgance VIII with emilyPlay Live this weekend at afterlife

ASYS and DJ Venom are coming back to town in the next 2 months aswell.

there are going to be plenty of other events at other places aswell.

you can hate afterlife all you want...prolly better that you dont like the place anyways. regardless of anyones dislike, ASYS is a show not to be missed.

'hate' is a strong word. i don't 'hate' afterlife at all. its a vital and necessary part of the scene here in dallas. its a great place for the kids to get exposed to genres that you wouldn't normally hear at other clubs. I'm just relieved that my friends aren't throwing any shows out there as the place has become far below my expectations for a psytrance venue, and i am simply done with it.
to each his own i suppose.

i agree with the psytrance part. the crowd and setup is more geared toward electro and hard dance stuff.

now as far as psytrance...outdoors is always the best place for that.
