Venues

So anyone know of any good open ended venues that new producers to the area can check out. Think warehouses and the like as they are already wanting to throw a massive. They originally went on saying they were going to have it in Frisco but as they found out . . . noooo; so they are willing to go into the surrounding areas of Dallas.

I guess they were in the S. Texas scene and moving up here recently they thought they could bring it here (and YES i know this tactic is Standard Operation Procedure for law enforcement to gather information on ppl). But I have a friend who thinks he knows them well enough for me to try to help out. *sigh* So anyways, any ideas?

yeah outdoor is the way to go. there are plenty of awesome outdoor venues in north texas, just ask around. warehouse party in dallas might be a little hard to pull off.

im not sure but ive been told that Afterlife rents out for $1500 for an event, depending on who/what/when.

I live in frisco and i'm pretty sure that if we had a rave here...the city will shit everywhere...

I think a large outdoor party is way over due around here. finding venues can be a bitch, but if you could find a nice field, throwing a guerrilla party is the way to go. set up, and put a post out 3-4 hours before event and play until the cops show up. then over on to a different location.
