New and Looking for new friends

Hey, I'm new to this site but I've been reading old posts for the last 2 days trying see whats up with the scene. I use to hang at the LL every Sat night back in my bach days but its been a few years. I'm looking for some new friends and maybe taking a field trip to the lounge in the near future. If the lizard lounge is not what it use to be does anybody have suggestions? I work downtown so I'm pretty familiar with geography. All the clubs I use to run are pretty much long gone! I need any advice please!!~

how do I get plugged in to wharehouse parties or other non-club type parties with kickin music? Can somebody turn me on to their fav DJ's, Iv'e been listening to some names I've read on other boards but looking for opinions! LATE!

you can't just waltz in here asking where ALL DA RAVEZ AT. because it makes you look a little like a cop. you're gonna have to work to get what you want. you can start here, or on DDM, go to some of the more advertised parties, make all friendly like, and then you'll get invited to other schtuff.

I got a friend coming in and she wants me to take her out to find a place to hang. So is anyone here actually going to any sponsered joint friday?
