I understand what you're saying. That's why when I originally got into the scene I was excited because there were others with a mindset similar to mine. I've practiced these principals of peace, love and unity growing up (mostly because I was raised by my mother who was a hippie and refused to leave the 60's era behind her). It's truly sad to discover that a concept such as this could be perverted to such a monstrously low level. The drugs aren't a reason to get into the music, they're not why I do what I do. While I'll admit to doing some drugs occasionally, I don't let them run my life. But while I'm sober 95% of the time, there will never be an instance where music doesn't enhance my life. That is why I rave. Not for drugs. For life.
