I REALLY want to go, but I'm 16, look about 17 or 18 though, if I look old enough will they let me in or are they one of those clubs that check everyone?

lol. they are so not that kinda club. it's super chill.

if you're worried though, i'd send em a message or call or something and see if you can arrange something. i know that lots of clubs will let you in with a parent or guardian, and some of them will even let your rents sign a waiver, allowing you permission to chill there on a regular basis. you still have to carry ID, but it's mostly pretty awesome.

however, Oddballs is badass about the all-agedness, i think this is the first party they've had that is 17+.

you shouldn't have a problem. if you do, lemme know. LOL. i'll take wonderful care of things.

I hear it quite a bit, and it pisses me off.

The other Oddballs parties we're 17+ too.

anyways, yeah, oddballs is so not a club, LOL. in fact, i'm pretty sure it's like a restaurant or something during the day?

and bonkers, i attend a rave club. you can't judge people by the fact that this "oh so terrible rave club" is the only thing around for months that's even remotely rave. you can hate on the people who act like they're hardcore ravers, when they've only ever been to afterlife, and don't get that the scene is about the music and the way one feels while listening to it. they just wanna get fucked up and make out with whoever is there with them.

a shame, it really is...

As a person who lived in Chicago for a while and now lives in Dallas...
YOU tell me where the "RAVES" are... you wont find any. Afterlife is the best youve got and so what if its a club? This scene is about the music, not where its held.
If you are one of those plur-bunnies that are looking for just a place to go and do your drugs, NOT to enjoy the music and the environment of like minded people... then you need to go somewhere else, cause you wont find that out in someones corn field or abandoned warehouse around this city.

Just to let you know that I will not be able to preform on Jan. 26. 2008. As my family and I are gathering to honor my father who passed away on Jan. 20th 2008. I know this show would be a blast to go to and I would be honored if you would take a moment to honor my father that night.

So... this is might be my first rave/dance/club, basically anything. I don't have anyone that would want to go with me. Should I just drive up there and walk in? Then what? I'm 17 almost 18. Think I'll enjoy this?

I suppose I need some rave/club etc. etiquette
