Moving to Orlando area end of august!

Just wanted to say hi and see if we couldn't make a few friends down there in Orlando/Winter Park area before moving down from Ohio in August. My opposite sex life partner and i are very involved in the edm scene up here in Dayton, OH (unfortunately that's not saying a whole lot..) we run a free weekly every Wed night @ Ziggys Nite Club where he and visiting area vinyl DJs throw down a little House, Breaks, Jungle and Hip-Hop. he goes by the moniker DJ Jefferson Funk or DJ Paode and has been DJing and throwing parties for the last 8yrs. i on the other hand have only been involved since i met him 2 1/2 yrs ago, but i love making the flyers and advertising, taking pictures and video taping our shows. we're moving our family down so that both he and i can go to school at Full Sail University, he for recording arts and me for a entertainment business degree. We would like to meet other DJs in the area with the same goals we have. I've never been to Florida in my life and we are looking to rent a house no more than 30 minutes away from Full Sail and we are on a very tight financial budget, i'm also transferring to an Olive Garden down there so any notes about the area will be very much appreciated like ~ where we definately shouldn't move to, where's the best clubs, what's the best school district for my daughter. that kind of stuff. I usually don't get on this website unless i'm posting flyers so please hit me up on myspace would be much appreciated!!
