New to Charlotte

I'm moving to Charlotte on/around April 15. I'm looking for events to hit up, big or small. I'm down to help throw/organize/run/play anything people might have going on. One thing I've found out from moving around so much in the past 4 years is that there are people in every corner (many or few) who are willing to keep this music scene moving... you just have to search them out sometimes. I play mostly dnb (all types from chill/oldskool to funky to dancefloor dnb to in-yo-face) and downtempo/afterhours (id4/experimental to jazz to whatever fits the mood). yea man, im up for anything also. been living in concord area all my life. never has had a good scene here, but in the last couple months its really starting to pick up. first ferry corsten, the amossouthend is having a rave, then paul van dyke is coming. hopefully this is the future for charlotte.
