Yo what's up.
I'm Sour from Havocsound. We're a soundsystem from NYC that's based in san francisco now. We did a cross country tour (like we do every summer) and played a show in Chapel Hill. The promoters at the venue kinda dropped the ball, but it was a good time. I'd like to play Asheville, but I don't know anyone there. We're a travelling soundsystem looking to infect every nook and cranny with hardcore/breakcore/jungle/tekno and if you know a place to play in NC and will come thru, we'll make it a tour stop. I'm originally from the southeast so I want to bring music there, but cool peeps are few and far between sometimes. Sour Havocsound havocsound.cjb.net |

if by rave you mean a party to flip some alphabet letters, pass out in the cuddle pile, hook up with hoes, and putt out some f***ing self praising attitude than YES! the rave scene is over. on the other hand...
if you mean a gathering of the massive collective energy of human beings united by the beat and dancing under the stars, transcending all boundaries of reality, music, and politics.and to experience the beautiful experience of a"rave"...than NO!! we are still ALIVE, so come and join us!!! [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] [Each full moon we gather from dusk until dawn to celebrate the cyclical, cosmic interplay of life through music, dancing and ritual under open sky (as is seasonally permitted). Our purpose is to experience joy, to heal ourselves through movement and to embody the truth of each moment through sound. Every gathering is an opportunity for us to practice living and breathing at a higher vibration, to acknowledge our unity of spirit and to ground this collective experience through our bodies and into our daily lives. We invite you to co-create this experience with us. We share a cultural identity that is rooted in a global, social phenomena beyond specific musical genres or religious associations. As we continue to grow, we will communicate and collaborate with our larger community around the world, celebrating our differences as well as our unified purpose to heal and to manifest The Vibe.] |plur| ::\isaac |

word! morrisville is pretty much raleigh, just not downtown. it's actually centered in between raleigh, chapel hill, and durham, close to the airport. pimp spot, banging sound and lights, stiff drinks, and a dope vibe!
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] we're always lookin help, no doubt! what's your name? who do you know in winston? i know, and work closely with some peeps there. do you spin? |

Yes, the GruvGlu guys bring some definite talent and quality events to the area. Also be on the lookout for SIGNAL Festival coming 4/26-4/28 with multiple venues, headliners, workshops + much, much more...The Signal website is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].. Also there is plenty of electronic events going on in Chapel Hill regularly such as Electronic Bliss @ Tallula's on Thursdays, ElectroBistro @ Fuse on Tuesdays plus different events scattered about... Hope this helps..Cheers B
