Charlotte, NC?

I just recently moved to Charlotte for college and was wondering if there was any undergound activity going on? I went to the T.O.U.C.H Festival up in Asheville this past weekend, but that was two hours away, it bit too much. I've noticed that DJs come to the clubs in Uptown Charlotte, but I've heard that it's not the same "feel?" Help!

I used to live in Concord about 6 years ago and there was alot going on around 1999, 2000 but everyhting seemed to shut down when they passed the Rave Act, living in the Bible Belt its hard to get away with much but its been awhile and things have calmed down there may possibly be a chance that its gonna get going again. I just moved to Salisbury after living in Florida for the last 6 years so I'm going crazy. I hope that there is something going on soon.

How far is Charlotte from Raleigh? I'd like to go meet anyone that lives there but:
A- No car
B- none of my friends ever wanna do anything.

TOUCH Samadhi has the best outdoor parties (there is one every month or so, some better than others). Indoor wise, lava lounge will occasionally throw down some good trance. I played a live Psytrance set with my buddy at eden also (live drums, live synths). Samadhi parties are worth the drive (not all blown up like over seas)
