Hello IDMf. What's goin on? So, I'm starting to make IDM and I use FLStudio. I was wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers on certain techniques that I may need to know, VSTs or plugins that may be of service, or any composition advice. I've noticed the tracks I've been making aren't exactly dynamic and are missing that "edge" that a lot of IDM has. I'm trying to figure out what helps best with time stretching and getting all of those cool percussive effects.

So, what techniques, plugins, or VSTs do you use when creating IDM and what would you suggest for a beginner?
