Any L.A locals know a good place to buy gear for good prices? Guitar center doesn't have a wide variety of stuff I'm mainly looking for....
Thanks ![]() I'm not too sure about ordering online. |

Sam ash wasen't really into making a deal with me that much. Guitar center hooked me up for 300 less than turntablelab.com and about 100 less than sam ash. Not to mention that I even got a $169 list ($99 their price) record case with wheels for $65. What you do is call the guitar center in hollywood on sunset and ask for Danny Parker. If he's there tell him you were sent by Steve G. (who picked up most of his gear, but one table and the coffin case had to be ordered) sent you to see him personally and that Steve said you could hook up a good deal on whatever you wanted to purchase. I'm sure he'll take good care of you. Especially since I will only go to him to purchase anything. So I have to call ahead to make sure he's working that day.

lol dude you could have told me this sooner!!!!! I went to guitar center on 4/20 and completely revamped my whole DJ set up. CDJs and my new turntables are on the way too. damn I could have saved a lot more money I bet. I felt like Guitar Center didn't hook me up enough. |

If you felt they hooked you up, you got a good deal. What I did was price everything online at turntablelab.com and then went to guitar center and they beat the price by 300.00. So pretty much take everybody's standard price, knock off 300-500 (depending on what you are buying) and if you haven't gotten into that range then you aren't getting a good deal. Right off the bat I got $50 knocked off both tables, and $100 off my coffin case, plus about $100 off the cartridges, mixer, and headphones combined. Then there was a slight problem with the checkout, so I looked around and bought a case for my vinyl I am going to buy (with wheels!!!) and got $34 bux knocked off that ($65 for a $169list $99 their price case). OH yeah, did I mention the coffin case is a road ready case with wheels? for $199!!! Duuuude, they're $299 all day and that's a very good price for these cases.
Anyway....off to see the vinyl wizard! |
