I'm not going to pretend to know any artists. I love reggae and listen to a lot of it.
If it has that reggae feel and vibe then I like it. The only "favorites" I have are the same legends as everyone else. |

I just got into reggae, oh man, what I love about it is the snare. That loud cracking snare between piercing hi-hats. Niiice.

i grew up on reggae. the snare, the guitar, the bass, the vocals, it all sends chills up my spine. what bands are you into, i probably have a few reccomendations.

check out agustus pablo, if you get a chance. really trippy dub. he was an infamous studio musician in jamaica in the 70's, played with everyone from israel vibrations to marley to burning spear, but his solo stuff is definitely his best work. he plays an instrument called a melodica, perhaps you've heard of it. it's got an awesome sound. other than good ole agustus i've only heard the instrument on a gorillaz record. bottom line, check out Agustus Pablo.
