where are the raves in vancouver

I'm new to raves, never been to one but I really would like to. Does Vancouver and the lower mainland just not have a lot of raves or are they mostly underground? I love hardcore and hard dance but I also enjoy trance. If anyone knows more about the scene around Vancouver I'd love to learn more!

yeah there are a few raves in vancouver, the biggest summer party is APEX its an outdoor rave, should be awesome, check out fnk for more events

^ Just a few raves? *giggle* There's plenty more than "a few". There's not a whole lot of hardcore events (they're mostly underground so you have to know the right people really). As for trance events (ugh, lol) there's tons. You should most def check out Apex (Aug 4th) and Summer Break (Aug 18th). I'll be in Cali near the end of June and will be packing along a bunch of SB flyers to hand out at EDC.
If anybody wants to know more about events in Vancouver or on Vancouver Island your best bets are fnk.ca and ravevictoria.com. I find ClubZone to be geared way more towards hoochies and the likes, but that's just my opinion.

...do you know when the next big rave is going to be happening in vancouver? i have a friend who just came up from seattle and he's all like, do your worst, so I want to take him to a really rad rave, as parties, clubs, etc are apparently not good enough for him.

Well.. On the Island, Theres pretty much a rave every weekend, sometimes two.
Most of them Are Pretty Fuckin Rad.

Theres a list of the raves up till November Rain.
