With the first United in Trance event only a short period away, the next one is already announced. Asta will host a night with the legendary UK trance heroes Above & Beyond on Friday the 18th of November.

With productions under the names Oceanlab, Tranquility Base, Aalto, POS and many others, Above & Beyond have already made quite the name for themselves. Their remixes have treated the likes of Madonna, Dido and recently the classic Delerium – Silence, which became a massive bomb! Other highlights include their already legendary Essential Mix of the year, and Pete Tong describing them as ‘the UK’s new trance superstars’. With a new album nearing release, and high expectations for the Dj Mag Top 100, it’s fair to say these guys are on fire!

Above & Beyond ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) will be supported in Area 1 by Intuition Recordings man in charge Menno de Jong, resident of Asta trance related nights, who has been working hard the past years to establish himself, his label, radio show and events in the trance scene. Next to that the slamming tech’trance team Danjo & Styles will join the lineup, a duo that is guaranteed to close off this night with techy beats to rock your feet. The warm-up will be courtesy of Jav D, a fast rising star in the USA progressive and trance scene, who recently showed his potential at the Intuition Summer Event.

Area 2 will be hosted by some of the finest talent in the scene: Passiva, Arctic Quest, Progression and Yanave. These guys have been sky rocketing in popularity for a while now, and will now get the chance to show off their skills behind the decks at United In Trance.

This brand new concept has been set up to create a new flow of real trance to the Dutch audience, with high quality names for the lineups. Three dates have already been announced: Saturday the 29th of October (The Thrillseekers), Friday the 18th of November (Above & Beyond) and Saturday the 31st of December (NYE, more info will be announced soon.)

Entrance fee for United In Trance presents Above & Beyond will once again be kept at a low 10 euros to keep this essential event accessible to all the trance lovers in and around the Netherlands. Are you ready to rock the house with us? Be there the 18th of November!

Het eerste United In Trance event is nog niet voorbij, en de volgende wordt alweer aangekondigd! Vrijdag 18 November zal de Asta in Den Haag het legendarische UK trance duo Above & Beyond te gast hebben. Ze stonden eerder dit jaar al op het regenachtige Dance Valley, maar deze keer nodigt United In Trance ze uit om het op een drogere plek opnieuw te doen.

Met releases onder de namen Oceanlab, Tranquility Base, Aalto, POS en vele anderen heeft Above & Beyond al een flinke naam opgebouwt in de Internationale trance scene. Ze hebben eerder al remixes gedaan voor Madonna, Dido en recentelijk nog ‘Delerium – Silence’, welke zelfs in Nederland enorm veel airplay heeft kunnen genieten. Andere hoogtepunten voor ze waren onder andere hun ‘Essential Mix of the Year’ op BBC1, en Pete Tong die ze beschrijft als “the UK’s next trance superstars”. Met een nieuw album klaar om te releasen en hoge verwachtingen voor de DJ Mag Top 100 kan er absoluut gezegd worden dat deze jongens ‘on fire’ zijn!

Above & Beyond ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) worden in Area 1 bijgestaan door Intuition Recording labelbaas Menno de Jong, resident van alles wat in de Asta met trance te maken heeft. Hij heeft de afgelopen jaren erg hard gewerkt om zichzelf, zijn label, radio show en events op de kaart te zetten in de trance scene. Daarnaast zal het knallende tech’trance duo Danjo & Styles de avond energiek afsluiten. De warmup wordt verzorgd door een dj uit de USA, Jav D, hier nog een opkomende naam, maar aan de andere kant van de plas inmiddels een heuze ster in de Progressive en Trance scene.

Area 2 zal bestaan uit een aantal getalenteerde namen uit de scene. Passiva, Arctic Quest, Progression en Yanave. Deze jongens zijn de afgelopen tijd flink in populariteit omhoog gegaan, en zullen nu hun kunsten kunnen vertonen voor het echte trance publiek tijdens United In Trance.

Het gloednieuwe concept bestaat pas erg kort, maar is al hard op weg naar het opnieuw inblazen van leven in de Nederlandse trance scene. Ze hebben inmiddels al een aantal lineups samengesteld met namen die toonaangevend zijn, en niet vaak in Nederland draaien: Zaterdag 29 Oktober – The Thrillseekers, Vrijdag 18 November – Above & Beyond en Zaterdag 31 December een NYE feest waarvan de lineup nog even geheim blijft.

Entree voor United In Trance presents Above & Beyond zal weer op een lage 10 euro gehouden worden, zodat iedere trance liefhebber dit unieke event kan meemaken zonder al te veel pijn in de portomonnee. Zorg dus dat je er klaar voor bent, want 18 November gaat het dak van de Asta er weer af!
