Did anyone else think Dieselboy's new record "Substance D" Was WAAAAAY more Break-beatish then his typical D&B swing?

I like it a lot, but it definitely wasn't the normal Dieselboy album to me. Anyway, I'm going to see him at the end of the month at EDC in LA and I was wondering if anyone has seen him recently and thinks he's spinning more breaky than normal.

i do think the new album was different. it was definately more breaks style, but i also think it was like darkstep, definately dark dark drum and bass. the whole album blew my mind. personally i like his old style much more, and if hes spinning more breakbeat now i would be upset, ive seen dieselboy, dj dara, and ak1200 live as planet of the drums, it completely took me away. it was INSANE. i love the bad ass beats and dark style he puts into his dnb, but glad to know someone else agreed with me about the new album. some songs are awsome and you have to hear them to believe them lol.

Me personally I thought that this was his most brilliant mix yet, it was different yes but he really threw some wicked shit in there. Plus if any of you listened closely he dropped a remix of a really old track he spun on System Upgrade his first double cd and I personally loved it. I have also seen Ak1200, Dara, and Dieselboy live on the Planet Of The Drums Tour caught them in Minneapolis Minnesota when I was out there over the summer a few years ago. I will never forget that night I never danced so much and so hard in my life until that night and I was partying for quite a few years before then. I hope to see Dieselboy if he ever comes through Philly again he always puts on a good show and throws down a sick mix.
