Nuestra Casa ft Rowan Blades (Breeder) @ Fluid London 14.12.07

On Friday 14th December, Nuestra Casa is celebrating its first birthday, and to commemorate this rather momentous and very festive occasion we have enlisted the services of a very special guest, ROWAN BLADES.

Rowan is probably best known for being one half of the dance production duo Breeder, whose records were the mainstay of the sets of the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman and Nick Warren for much of the 1990s. Since putting Breeder on ice in 2001, Rowan has produced a string of solo underground smashes, such as 'Funky Somma' & 'Filth', whilst honing his DJing skills at the same time.

In 2005, Rowan upped sticks and left the UK for Australia (who can blame him?), and started a residency at The Chinese Laundry Club in Sydney. Since then, he has been living in dance music mad Buenos Aires while DJing for his residency at Warung, one of the world's most unique and beautiful beach clubs. Needless to say, we can't wait for Rowan to bring his own diverse sound to the Nuestra dancefloor!

Also making their long overdue Nuestra debut are London-based DJ duo Parish Beats, who will be expertly blending balearic and soulful house with groovy floorfillers, in Fluid's upstairs bar.

We are also celebrating two other birthdays this month: Nuestra Casa resident and cheeky Manc Oliver James turns 25, while resident DJ's/international jetsetters BroKen DJs celebrate 5 years of spinning tunes. Hard to believe a broken arm, 24 cans of Stella and a mix tape would lead this far icon_smile.gif

Add the other Nuestra residents Cosmique and Marcus Robson to the mix and it looks like we've got another right royal rave up on our hands!
