The Electro Revolution Will Not Be Televised
Life is a busy gig. Every day there's work, meals, sleep, parties, bills, etc (this is why electronic organizer manufacturers are all buying mansions lately). And who can keep all this stuff straight? It's not easy. So you've got to plan ahead. How far ahead? Well, ideally, you should already know what you're doing for New Year's Eve, 2010. But if you're too lazy to pull this off, at least lock your schedule down for the next few months. For instance, this Saint Patrick's Day (that's March 17th), make the trek to the NEW Techno Club in Marysville, California (just outside Sacramento) for Electro Revolution 2, a ten hour festival of electronic revelry. Presented by Dub Star Universal, and showcasing over a dozen top dance DJs, this is one of those parties you should pencil into your calendar immediately. Like, right this second. The last Electro Revolution sold out. So lots of people showed up, all psyched to dance and get groovy and wave glow sticks, but the bouncers by the door just shook their heads. Don't let that happen this time around, especially considering the stellar line-up: Donald Glaude, Paul Anthony, Filter Freq, Ron Reeser, Undecided, DJ Irene, Mystre, G.A.M.M.A., DJ Rockit, Bob O, Aphrodite, Machete, MC Questionmark, U.F.O., Evolve, and Mercedes. Whoa. There's all sorts of magical names for the different rooms that will be rocking, too: House of Gold Progressive House, Rainbow of Trance, Leprechaun's Jungle Drum n Bass, etc. And no, I'm not making this stuff up. A nice touch about this event is that it's open to all ages, with a special 21-and-over area for the alcohol-drinkers, so come one, come all. You don't have to be Irish (although it helps) and you don't have to wear green (unless you don't like getting pinched by dancing strangers). All you have to do is buy a ticket and bring the noise. The explicitly stated themes of Electro Revolution 2 are “Peace, Love, Unity, Respect.” Think you can handle that? Expect heavy four-leaf clover imagery, non-stop high-tech dance music, and over 1,500 lucky souls |

I would go to the luck O Irish too but all the same djs are playing the weekend before at "CHOCO MILK".. Terry Mullen and Danny Tha Wildchild and maybe 2 locals are the only different DJ's. I will be at Electro-Revolution because it's Original, way bigger and I know that its safe, legal and it will go all night long. Just a way bigger production. High standards and high quality. Who wouldn't want to see Donald Glaude, DJ Irene, Aphrodite and the rest all together with thousands of people.Very few may call it mainstream, but most just call it "massive" Luck O Irish will be a good show but ELECTRO-REVOLUTION will be a great event. |
