Along time ago sacramento had great parties. I know cause i went to them all. The thing is you know its all ages, but that's not the real problem. There's drugs and you know thats not the problem either. The sacramento DJ's didn't give a fck either, but that wasn't the prob.
You see I was involved in making the parties happen and i was involved when they got shut down. The real problem was the underage homosexuals. No sheite. It is just not politically correct for a bunch of minors to engage in homosexual acts when you give them a place to party. I know i can bring back the party scene, even to the point of Cal-Expo having parties again. The thing is proper role modles for the underage ppl and rules that would involve ousting ppl for the right reasons. If the underage want a place to have fun i can give it for real, no joke, but no fags allowed. My previous posting talked about legitimate locations with a licence and insurance for music and dance. LEGITAMATE LOCATIONS WITH A LICENCE FOR MUSIC AND INSURANCE FOR DANCE. Ppl tossing these parties need to be smart about what they do. Also it doesn't hurt to have some connections like mine. Truly i like the allages party scene and i think it is a great idea, but like i said b4: under no circumstances with or without circumsomething else NO FAGS Yes the government can discriminate when minors are engaging in unatural sexual acts, they can consider it is drug induced, and they can shut that sht down. Because of the curfew laws. Everyone was bitchin bout that one in a million that would die while on some drugs. But the truth was there was so manny fags invading an all ages scene it was ridiculous. The truth is that having an all ages place for a party is great, and if it is a private party, where theres a permit for dance and music the law can't really do anything about the curfew. Drugs are at nearly ever musical event and available for ppl of any age to buy. It was the fags that destroyed the party scene. Comment all you want on this, for or against but its true an if the scene ever comes back strong its because someone in government allows it AND BEACUSE FAGS ARN'T ALOWED. |

I don't think i can really take this seriously. I'm certainly not gay, but the sac scene definitely went into hibernation long before it could have been tagged onto under-age sexual activity: regardless of preference.
Truth is, I have a feeling you really don't know what you're talking about. Of course, this is the internet, and you can't really take things too seriously. The sac scene closed for business for two reasons: 1) sacramento PD was all over the sacraves mailing list. 2) producers were crap at covert-ops. It wasn't overt sexual activity with minors. That's why all-ages parties were looked down upon in the first place. The kids just wanted a venue to experiment with their cheap drugs. Now, as for being able to bring the scene back Alpha, I say: Bring it. Otherwise, you're just another ghost with no power frustrated at your own inability to do anything. |

If someone is willing to try to bring back the sac party scene, im down to help out. I may be new to the rave scene, but so far i love it and can see myself eventually helping to put on and organize parties.
Sacramento isnt well known for anything, but when you think about it there is alot to do in sac so long as you know how to find it. Plus if an underground party scene, or jsut a party scene in general it might bring alot of life back into sac, especially for the younger generation. Think about it. there are plenty of places in sac where we could have great outdoor raves, as well as indoor raves (cal expo would be the big one). Im down to help bring back a party scene into sac, but unless we get enough people to participate it wont happen |

WTF is this fag nonsense? Take your homophobia someplace else.
Eh, anyways. I went to Down the Rabbit Hole a couple months back and it went off pretty well. It was an outdoor, $5 (I think), and pretty damn underground. Of course, eventually the cops came crashing through around 3AM, but still. Sac raves happen here and there, just not on the scale that the Bay Area has it. On that note, there was a "rave" on UC Davis campus (yes, on UC Davis campus) earlier in the year. It was inside some tech studies building and the professor in charge of the building was completely chill with it. Get this: no security, no cops, no bullshit whatsoever. I say it was a "rave" cause technically it wasn't advertised as a rave, but shit, there were DJs busting out electronic bliss with a fair amount of kids obviously rolling. The beauty of the whole thing is Davis cops don't drive around campus looking for trouble--all the frat parties and whatnot happen off campus. And the building itself is remote enough that if people are outside having a smoke, its not obvious. I heard through the grapevine that it's gonna happen again. The key thing really is the professor in charge of the building is fine with it so it looks legit. Though what I think helped pull off the whole thing off was the fact that nobody brought any bullshit. No fights, no OD's, just some college kids and people from the community getting a little taste of the rave scene. |

Gay people happen. you see lesbians at raves your like "cool, lesbians" you see gay guys at ar ave your like "ewe, kick em out" thats fucked up. jsut because you have seen one or two gay couples at a rave doesnt mean that everyone there is gay.
