I'm self taught. Usually I hand sew because I'm broke until November, but occasionally I use a busted up Brother sewing machine that's a million years old.

Trades? Commissions? Contribute to my genius. Maybe one day I'll just start selling on Ebay. Yay or Nay?

Try both Etsy and Ebay (but i think youll find Etsy to be more useful).
Im planning on learning sewing as well.
But im more into making bikinis.
Here in san diego we have a ton of free sewing classes so im gonna start from there also the place where ive ordered my sewing machine offers some basic classes.
My machine will be able to do embroidery so if you ever want your stuff with embroidery let me know my machine should handle it.

I charge for the price of fabric and shipping, tips appreciated. I'd just give you a quote based on what you wanted then you'd paypal the money to me or something.

ex: you want a tutu and matching leggings. Fabric might be $10 for lycra and that gauzy material (the name eludes me), shipping probably $5, you send me $25 and say keep the change.

I just like making costumes, plus I want to spread my name. ^_^

Id make one but i got rid of my sewing machine when i moved out cause of the lack of space for it. And i soo dont want to hand stitch.

I wish i could find a skirt like that.

ur awesome it all looks soo professional...i know how to sew and should but whenever i think about making costumes my mind goes in a million differant directions and i end up not knowing where to even start...youve deffinately inspired me to make something now
