Yeah they have better colors too and they just look better. I got myself some Photon 3's though. One of my friends is old school so he was telling me what they used back in the day. These lights are sick as hell.

hey xish got a few useful peices of info for you. if you dont like the inovas in low setting because the light looks big and bulky do this: open the light, carefully remove the black peice with the bulb in it (it snaps in and out) and then cut the tops off so that the bulb will be exposed. the reason why the light looks bigger is just bc of the plastic illuminating. also, if you want it to look more like a photon, take some electrical or duct tape and tape the bottom milimeter of the bulb off so that the bulb is about the same size as the ones on your photons. and believe me, the tape does make a difference. also, even better than that is u can either A: order different color bulbs for dirt cheap on ebay- type in 5mm bulb, and get the ones with the highest MCD u can find, they also have combo packs w diff colors, or B: go to your local radioshack where you can find gold, green, white, and red bulbs at, then drive to an automotive store and look for something with purple or gold bubls in them. but when u do this make sure u take osmething like superglue and put a tiny dab on the bottom of the bulb before u insert them. oh and the bulbs just pull right out btw. Youll love it tho dude if you cut the tops off and get some new bulbs just as good as photons. i love photons too i have some but ive managed to make purple, pink, gold, green, and orange inovas, and theyre dope. plur

Re: Photon's vs Inova's

glad to hear it man. and yea i didnt use super glue on some of mine and theyve been fine but on several of em the bulbs flew out in the middle of a light show and it was a major bummer haha. the super glue will be worth your while. anyways go to the automotive light section they should have "amber" or gold bulbs on this thing that looks like a computer chip. it has 4 bulbs on it and its used in a lotta cars for turn signals and shit just chop the bulbs off with nail clippers. aside from that go to where the neons and decorative lights are for like the inside of your car and u shouldd be able to find other colors. You may have to cut them off whatever device theyre attatched to but theyll work as long as they got a negative and a positive. thats where i found purple. happy huntin bro

eeek im putting on the glue right now then haha im probably going to end up putting these on an orbit (if i can figure out how to make one with 4 lights lol) so im sure theyd fly out.

thanks though, really. i cant find photons anywhere and these are like the same thing now.
i took the led's out of those cheap ilumix sticks, the ones that fade then strobe, looks amazing

I will have to go with Photon3s if you have the money, you get what you pay for. INOVAs are half the price tho and they get the job done although they are quite a bit heavier.
Also if anyone knows how to make a 3-6 INOVA orbit fill me in cuz i just cant seem to balance them...

I'm so glad I found this post earlier today. At the Target near me, they only had blue and white INOVA's. Well Radioshack was right around the corner, and since I knew Target had the INOVA's I went there first. I found red with 3000 MCD, but settled for pink with 2850 MCD. They also had yellow, red, green, and ultraviolet. However, the ultraviolets were out. Also they had like different strength for every color but pink and ultraviolet.

Well I'm happy now with blue, white, and pink INOVA's. It was all I could afford, but hopefully I'll be able to expand my collection.
