Photon Question

I've mainly found three types of Photons out there; Photon (simple on-off button), Photon 2 (on-off button, plus switch) and Photon Freedom (4 styles of strobe)
I just wanted to know if i was correct, the first two are only soild photons and the last one only strobes.
Also where do people find color changing photons?

TRUE "photons" are like the ones you described and actually made by a company called "Photon Lights". Photon doesn't actually describe any style of light, it's just a model name. There are a couple different lights made by the Photon Light company:

Photon I (Press On-Off, no always-on mode)
Photon II (Same press on-off as I, but with a switch for always on)
Photon III (Always on, 2 brightness modes + strobe)
Photon Freedom (Always on, 6 different brightness settings + strobe)
Photon Rav'n lights (Always on, but use a 3-color LED for a multi-colored trail)

Now there are also Inova microlights, and these are becoming more and more popular, probably because they are easy to find (available at Target, Walmart, Sport Chalet, etc.). They have two brightness modes, and I actually like them because the switch is easer to modulate in the middle of the show.

Lights made by the Photon Light company are usually pricier than Inova's, and the only one thats really worth getting is the freedom, which is still $20 a light. Honestly, go get a bunch of Inova's in different colors then go from there.
