need help w/ color combo's

Simple, what are some color combinations that you normally think of as not going together (matching). Please stick with basic colors.

For example: pink and green

Pink and red usually clash, IMO.

Too much red and green is a no-no unless it is December. Same with black and orange unless it is october.

I would say I've had the most success with...

Magenta + Turkish Olive
Off White/Pearl + Indigo
Tangerine + Fucshia
