I don't think you would like it if I wore ass-less chaps. Just saying, some people shouldn't wear some things. While they have the right to express themselves, I just wish they wouldn't.
Edit: I don't dislike heavier people, I just don't like looking at them in skimpy clothes. |

Yeh I kinad used to think that way ( I would never go up and put someone down like ive seen before, and im not going to ignore them, or not give them lightshows) Then at noc 08 I was selling ths "fat" dude some pills, and i nearly puked my skinny ass all over him. Instead of being like "fuck you skinny dude" he stuck around for like 15 minutes to make usre I was okay, gave me some water, and some breath mint thingies to get the taste out my mouth... That experience realy opened my eyes to what PLUR is. After that I try to treat everyone with the same amount of repect (regardless of how they look) until they give me a reason to do otherwise. |

I had a feeling my post would irritate some of you. The funny thing is, everything is comparative to how you feel as an individual. For example, if you weigh 250lbs and see some 350lb fellow walking down the street, you could say, "Wow, what a goddamn fatass."
Same goes for all other physical attributes. |

Well, for one I think it's just because this is the USA and nearly everyone here eats shit (garbage food). How many people here still cook their own meals?
Anyway, why do you care? Whats everyones opinion to you? I'm not being mister sensitive here, it's just that who the fuck cares enough to post a topic about it. You apparently. Learn to live and let live. peace. ![]() |

Once again, its not so much the fact that they are fat, its the fact that they can't dress in an appropriate way....
.....while they have to right to express themselves, i have the right to make fun of them all i fuckin want lol.... Last edited by Incoherent; 13.10.2008 at 5:10 pm.. Reason: automerged doublepost |

First off, whats appropriate. When did you become the end say on whats attractive and whats not, whats appropriate and whats not. I thought the whole point of this scene was to accept EVERYONE who wanted to belong. The point is confidence is gorgeous. No one should be forced to hide who they are for your benefit. All people are not for All people, I understand that, but you need to be mature enough to accept that and not belittle people. Im also well aware that despite my soap box preaching people are people and there will always be people who poison the scene. It's part of life and part of any movement that grows to include many many individuals. In fact it wasn't too long ago that thick pasty women / men where considered the most attractive, while the thinner tanned ones where thought of as poor peasants. You would do well to reject societies media influenced interpretation of attractiveness and look beyond the skin and see what really makes individuals beautiful. I respect anyone who has the courage and confidence to go against the status quo and do / dress /dance / spin / what makes them happy. They are the ones who took the time to see through the wool pulled over their eyes. Imagine a time when you where being belittled because of a group you belong to, whether it was ethnicity, sex, orientation, raving, whatever. it's happened to all of us. Remember how you felt. Not fun, at the very least you could take solice in the fact that it was a separate group causing you pain and you have you own associations to fall back on for comfort and support. Now, imagine being ostracised by the very movement you wanted to be part of, feeling that type of rejection is spirit crushing. Next time you make a rude remark simply for your own amusement or reject someone because of appearance alone, think about how you are making them feel and know that you where the tool that caused them some form of harm. Karma is a bitch and catches up to all of us. Last edited by paxx; 13.10.2008 at 7:33 pm.. Reason: automerged doublepost |
