What's everyone's take on chubby people at raves? Just, you know, in general.

Not good. They ruined the goth/industrial scene out here in L.A. In the 90's there use to be the hottest chicks at goth/industrial clubs now it seems just like the scene is an excuse for fat girls to think they are unique. That or they all stopped doing speed. What ever the case it's not fun or funny.

Fat ravers + X + Dancing = Thin ravers
I don't think anyone should be judged at raves, so matter what size the are. We're all here for the music and fun. Just as long as everyone dresses appropriately. I don't want to see anyone's fat rolls, not even my own. Yes I have them too. And catching a glimpse of ass crack isn't cool no matter what your size. Plus, I think anorexic girls are more disgusting than bigger ladies. |

LOL fat people ruining the scene... lol thats hilarious. Seriously. Best shit I've heard all week.
Ok, so some people should cover up more, a girl at a party I went to this weekend wore a shirt all cut up and booty shorts and seriously she had folds just spilling out of the shirt and pants. She should cover up, not stay at home. I don't care who goes to parties, besides, if you think someone is fat, then LOOK AWAY you don't need to hop up on everyones junk. And for some idiot to say that a bunch of hot people used to come to parties and now there are only fat people there... who cares, seriously, stop trying to stick your dick in a girl at every party, then you won't care about who is at a party! As for me, I personally prefer chunkier guys. I HATE, seriously HATE skinny guys. I am not as attracted to them. My boyfriend has some meat on him and I think he is hot and love him, he's my teddy bear ![]() |

The reason I ask this question is because I was recently at a rave and saw a somewhat disturbing scene. Picture this...
Group A: Fit-ravers. Group B: Not-so-fit-ravers. A was obviously having a lovely time mocking at B, who were aware and unhappy this was going on. While a few friends and I stood in the background, we watched it happen and felt just how (some) of you feel, I don't think people should be judged anywhere--raves included. I know that thicker people aren't always as pleasing to look at, but the fact that some people are so against even speaking or being associated with them is beyond me. I do, however, agree that no matter what size-- people need to dress so certain things aren't hanging out and saying hello. |

I dont thinkits so much people dont want fat people in the scen its just sometimes fat people dont necessarily have a good sense of style and dress in something very, un becomming, look, if you got rolls, you can rock the belly shirt or wear something 2 pants sizes to small, its disgusting, nobody want to se that, just like im not oging to show up in muscle shirt cause well, i dont realy have muscles to show off like that, people just need to be honest with themselves and wear what suits their body type. Stop makin a fool of yourself, nah mean???

I know I shouldn't be judging/making fun of people, it's hardly PLUR, but I generally dislike fat people. While I have no real problem with them, it's not like they really RUIN the experience for me, I've seen too many fat girls show up to a rave with their fat friends covered in absurd amounts of makeup and dressed in some of the most revealing clothing you've ever seen as if combined with a blacklight, it makes their weight problem go away.
I'll admit I'm being a bit of a douche, people are people regardless of how many chins they have... |

Wow.. This post is appalling. First off, where do you get off separating fat people from "regular" people, like they are some type of separate species.. We are all people. Who cares what other people wear. The whole point is self expression. You don't have to like it but you sure as fuck have no right to judge. If some chubby girl feels sexy / comfortable / unique in a revealing outfit then she should by all means wear it. All people are beautiful and no one deserves to be mocked , judged or ridiculed. unbelievable.
