Carrying glowsticks if you suck at lightshows?

Just a quick question- if you can't give a very good lightshow, but you love to wear glowsticks, and watching lightshows, is it proper "etiquitte" to carry them around? I always feel awkward, especially if someone asks for a lightshow, but the colors make me feel so happy.
What does everyone else think?

Um, I like to hold glow sticks and play with them on my own, and people come to me and ask for one and I laugh and say I dont give light shows and they either shrug and go away or talk ot ask for one anyway, haha, most the time I am laughing at myself for actually giving them one....

Eh, being self conscious about walking around with lights is like being self conscious of what your wearing at a rave, you just cant be because no one will take their time to judge you, so like, if you want, you can dress up in ALL black and then tape long thin glow sticks to you and make yourself look like a stick man walking around.

yea it doesnt matter, there are gonna be people with crazy costumes and tons of kandi, its great to see everyone raving.. if you'd like you can practice giving lightshows yourself, its not too hard to pick up, go to walmart and get a pair of glow sticks in "outdoor dept" and practice a few moves in a mirror. You dont have to be really crazy and dance with glowsticks like a pro, short in your face lightshows are really effective and fun if people are rolling .

when i went to how sweet for my first rave i carried my new photon lights,i didnt even know how to give lights shows just that i could do the figure 8 after a day worth of practice lol
but any ways ppl are rolling so hard they dont care, you can try and give one and some times they get way into it lol
im going to EDC in june and will have like 4 months of pratice now. hoply i have improved

I had bunch oh glowsticks I took from 99cents store. They last about 1/2 hour of good light but w.e they were free!! People really did not care that I sucked. All I did was figure 8s, some body traces, and I held them in a claw like someone there showed me. People still enjoyed even with my nubness. Now I have practiced and made my orbit.

personally i feel that if u enjoy having glowsticks with u then u should carry them and npt feel like ur doing something wrong.... just because someone isn't good at glowsticking is no reason they cant have glowsticks. if u like to just carry glowsticks around then do it... if someone else asks for a lightshow it's perfectly fine to say that u dont know how... anyone and everyone who has even the slightest amount of PLUR in there body will understand. all i'm trying to say is that if something makes u happy and feel good then do it... the PLUR will take care of everything!!!!
