I listened to this a couple of times and compared it to the original, and it's nice. I've been a freak for breaks ever since a great friend of mine-- really an adopted brother-- first showed me how good techno could REALLY be.
The change to the beat is really subtle, and I think it compares well to the original. You could listen to it and almost swear it came off the album that way. The syncopation really breaks up the tune and alters the bunch of the melody just enough that it's like looking at the song from a different perspective. I like how you give us a build up of the original beat structure. You start listening to it and you're thinking, "This is just Xpander chopped up with the pieces out of order," and then when the breaks kick in it's very very subtle.
The original has a steady 1-2-3-4 bass emphasis. If you were saying it to yourself it'd be "bass... bass... bass... bass..." in time with the music. The changes give it a nice: "bass... snare... ... andSNARE" Or to put it another way, the original is "1, 2, 3, 4" whereas this is "1, 2, .... and 4".
I liked that you gave an awesome some the respect it deserves, and left the melodic lines alone, and just focused on enhancing the flow of the song by giving it breaks. It's good, and I'll definitely download it and put it in my rotation.
This is my first review, so I hope it makes sense.

The only change I might suggest is switching up the beat every now and then to add even more syncopation, but that's probably just because I'm a sucker for breaks.
Serious respect for the remix. Keep it up!
Syncopation is the spice of life.
