So a 40-something cant hang out with someone younger? Hmm...that would mean I shouldn't hang out with my dad anymore. I probably shouldn't even talk to teachers. And that whole thing about telling a responsable adult if I'm ever having any serious problems. And considering my uncle is one of my best friends, I might have to cut off that relationship.

Being 18, I'm stuck between two worlds. Still feeling the freedom of childhood, but expected to be mature and act like an adult, but then at the same time not given the privilages that the maturities would coincide with. I have been told that I am very mature for my age, and I do agree that I have experienced more than some people twice my age. I can hold an intelligent conversation with older people, and yes, we are in "two differant worlds", but whats so wrong with meshing for a while?

So.... I'm 20 and two of my close friends are 34 and 41. They've been married almost 10 years, they have three kids (all under 12) and I have no problem associating with them at all. I think it is so stupid for people to think that people with an age difference cant be friends, let alone close friends. And a drug dealer who is 18 selling to other people that are 18 is gonna be no different than a drug dealer who is 40 selling to "kids" who are 18, either way they're doin the same shit.

I agree completely....Thats what my original post said...but I'm tired of this argument....whatever
