Teach me something!

I've been trying to learn poi for the past 3 weeks, and seem to be catching on super fast. Anyone care to give some tips? How long does it normally take before you feel like you're dancing, and not just spinning patterns? I'd love to meet up some time either at a party, or just to spin!

So.. Who wants to show me some things at Lovefest?

Thats really awesome! Congrats on your progression! I wish I could spin. All Im decent at is light dancing with those LED ring lights. Absolutely love those things! I hope to see you up at Lovefest doing your thing man, and good luck with spinning!

Good to see a positive attitude in these forums! I ya want to spin, why don't ya learn? I went all out, and got some really pretty rechargable poi, but you can make your own out of socks, and tennis balls or whatever.
