New to EL Paso, want in...

HIYEEE! I'm Dezeri. I'm kinda new in El Paso and I don't know my way around. My cousin is coming in from Albq, NM to throw a New Year's Eve party. I need to find a place and some people to help plan before. Anyone out here that can help me? I'd really appreciate it!

the Rave scene here SUCKS trust me

its infested with FAGGOT rebles that dont know wat real music is

everyone here are a bunch of band-wagon kids
they all fucking follow eachother and dont do there own thing

but if u want something to go down here
idk i can think of a few places but thats the thing theres TOO many dumb asses out here that will ruin it
and get the cops involved

Yeah my first piece of advice would be to LEAVE El Paso, because you're not going to find anything there. Come on to Central Texas or DFW.

I used too live in el Paso till about 98 than my parents had enough sense too move back too L.A. Hows the rave seen out there? Come too cali and experience the rave scene in all its in all its GLORY!!!!

haha no i was just wanted too see the scene i would have been in if i still lived out there. my uncle wa a raver back in el paso back in the day. he said it was cool but they would go on road trips out here for massives and what not. any of you guys going too together?

There's actually quite a few places to hear some good house music on the weekends....and Juarez has good events all the time too...

I'm actually from El Paso but I had been living in Austin,TX from 2000-2006.Now I don't want any1 dissing El Paso scene because there use to be one..... When I left El Paso...there was a big fukine tight ass rave scene....baggy pant,binky sucking, visor wearing blinky light ravers everywhere..including me.....the scene was pretty wild and full of fun ....tons of great djs went through this city...tons of bad ass raves ending definetly in the dawn and after the sun was up....lighting from Chakra 7....there was a rave at least in almost every abandoned wearhouse,garages, airplane hangars, and empty buildings in downtown..especially in the desert mountains....there was ALWAYS map points in the early 90s especially, those were fun it made looking for the raves a mystery and exciting.....I give props to all the promoters back then who threw the parties..and the djs...anyways...you wont find that anymore, I'm not sure what happened, I know I moved out of EL Paso as for the rest...they probably grew up and are now the people dressing up nice at all the house music events..I definetly miss how it use to be, but I'm glad I'm in a city that appreciates good house music....

If you like house music or minimal & progressive...then this city is for you..because you'll find tons of house, progressive and electro....theres weeklies but not big rave massives like Austin or Cali...and I lived in Austin recently so I know but I appreciate both cities, I MISS AUSTIN A LOT THOUGH...what I would do to be in an HEB ..Shout out goes to AREA 512 & SMT...BUCKLUP ENT ALSO

ya there may be some places here in el paso
that has really good DJs but the thing is , is it get infested with dumb asses

im not downing el paso i mean el paso was popping with good raves till about like 97 but then it died just like everything els that gets big in el paso

There could of been no way you were part of the rave scene in 1997...because in 1997 raves were slamming and were huge..underground, tons of weeklies and desert parties....raves didn't die down in El Paso until 2004..so it's obvious you weren't around in 1997 because anyone who was would know how big the scene was then.
