For over a decade, Shimon has been smashing up dancefloors week-in week-out at the biggest parties, clubs and music festivals. Shimon is a respected and well-sought after producer from the many remix offers he receives, to being approached by Novation to produce sounds for their new XIO synthesizer. Arriving in New York from London in '89, it could be argued that no one has done more for Drum & Bass in America than DB. First with his hardcore breakbeat club NASA, (featured in the Larry Clark film Kids) then by launching Sme communications and releasing the first Jungle singles & compilations in the U.S, as well as signing DJ Dara, thus kick starting his artist career. He & Dara then opened Breakbeat Science, dedicated to Drum & Bass, It quickly become not only the most respected record store & label but also the very epicenter of the jungle community in the U.S.

His skills behind the decks have also led to headlining appearances across the US and in Europe and he has appeared on BBC Radio 1 London, KISS FM London, WKTU 103.5 FM New York and Sirius Satellite Radio. He began his career as a heavy metal guitarist performing in clubs while he was still in high school and his first electronic release dates back to 1992. Wavewhore’s name is derived from his addiction to manipulating audio waveforms and from all appearances he promises to be an inspiring force in electronic dance music.
