New to the area

I'm a vagrant who's moving to the hartford area soon and I was curious if there were any decent night clubs or raves in the area. Big hardcore fan but i'll settle for anything.

ever since the muni was demolished, there has not been much going on in CT. I'm from the area myself, and I travel far and wide for a good party.

well that's not groovy at all. i've heard about this place called up but i don't think it looks to grande. any reviews on it?

hmm have not heard much. I've been hitting the underground scene more than clubs. The next good thing I heard of is in Maine sometime in October =D

ya club scene is a joke throughout most of new england. if u want anything to do with the scene here u got to be on your toes and really look for events like the one mentioned in Maine, prehistoria. should be a blast. these events are almost never half assed and alot of planning is put into them. here's the myspace invite for it:

yeah you maine-iacs know how to rave! So far i've hit up skyscape last summer and WTWTA this year. I can't say i've been disappointed yet =3

truly? somewhat of a journey but from the high reviews it seems like it would be worth the adventure. maybe we could all create a caravan and go together or something.

I'd be up for that! where you from? I'm around the hartford area.. or rather the woodlands nearby.

I'm always looking to meet new awesome people, even if the trek to ME dosent work out. There are always smaller ones closer, such as RI, NY or MA.

But yeah, its DEFINATTTTELY worth the trip =D

i'm actually going to be living in hartford. it seems i've ran into a streak of bad luck and my mother lives up there so i'm going to have to return to mommy for a little while. it's okay cuz the 9th is my 21st and i'm hoping that i can meet and greet some wonderful pplz up there. hell soon as i get my own place i might just start throwing raves out of my apartment.
