its shanes and tomes b-day !!!

In January of 2006, Atari Safari and Abstract Traxx did their first event together called Abstract Safari. 2 Years and many shows together later ( previous events together include " Return of the Boom Bap 1-2", Leprechaun in the Hood, Got Debauchery?, andKiller Klowns) we have decided to reinvent one of our favorite concepts ever.

Expect 3 rooms of banging sound and lighting, with some of your favorite djs.

DELTA 9 VS LENNY DEE!

Two of the U.S.'s leading names in hardcore combine to bring you a full on hardcore assault! Lenny formed Industrial Strength records back in 1991 one of the most revered hardcore/techno labels in the world, and has released countless tracks and cds under that label. He has also produced under prominent labels such as Rotterdam Records, Stay Up Forever, Warner Bros, and Atlantic Records to name a few. Delta 9 is the owner of Psychotik Records, and has over 40 solo 12 inch releases (including under his alias 'The Imposters' ) and has appeared on over 200 compilations including all the massive powerhouses like the Thunderdome series, Helraiser, Third Movement's Demolition, the Mysteryland series, Masters of Hardcore comps and many more. He has also done many remixes including for bands such as 'Corrosion of Conformity', 'Napalm Death' and 'Soil'.Delta 9 continues to produce relentlessly and DJ all over the USA and Europe with his unique and aggressive style.

Special Tag Set + Bonus Techno Set from LENNY DEE!

Besides his massive amount of accomplishments in the hardcore world, Lenny is also known for his hard techno. He was recently voted the # 1 techno dj by the Scottish Dance Music awards 2 years in a row. He makes many European stops with the likes of some of the hardest hitting techno artists in the U.K. including the Liberator Bros, D.A.V.E. the Drummer, and Geezer to name a few.

DIGITAL FRONTIER AKA DIGIFRONT

Reigning from Mt. Kisco, NY, Digital Frontier is a four-piece electronica act. Venturing into the realm of sonic sound and wave manipulation, the quartet delivers a non-stop energetic performance of tranced out madness. Digital Frontier consists of the fraternal duo of Luke (bass) and Jesse Stocker (flute and synth), Matt Smilkstein (keys, synth), and Sol Montoya (drums). First performing in Vermont in April 2006, Digital Frontier has expanded its sound, producing tight compositions and digitally dance fueled beats.

Through a rigorous touring schedule throughout the Northeast, DigiFront, as their fans dub them, has garnered a loyal and enthusiastic following. Performing to sold out and packed clubs such as Club Metronome (Burlington, VT), The Knitting Factory (NYC), and Appalachian Brewing Company (Harrisburg, PA), Digifront has created a buzz unlike any upcoming electronica act.

There's something special that sets Digifront aside from the pack. Perhaps it's Jesse's lush and melodic flute lines, maybe it's the pulsing and infectious rhythms of Sol. The fact of the matter is that there is a unique symbiosis amongst this quartet, one that has left concert goers shocked by the unprecedented energy this live act delivers. With influences ranging from Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, Shpongle, The Disco Biscuits, and MSTRKRFT, Digital Frontier has set the stage for an exploratory and captivating career.

Live Animal Presentation!

The Critter Caravan will be arriving at our venue for an hour long animal presentation. Their animal trainer will have a microphone to give some background information on each animal he presents. He then allows for people to take pictures with and hold all of these exotic animals.

Art gallery displays throughout the venue

Check out James's art at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

In addition to livening up one of our favorite spots with some live animals, we will also have an abstract art displayed from artist James Kennedy. If you have attended either the first Abstract Safari or Nightmare Before Christmas you have seen his work displayed before. He may even create some Art live for us at the show, and there will be one piece specifically designed for the show! How often do you hear about decor like that!?

*** Artists! We need you! In addition to the art James will be displaying we would also like to find local artists willing to display their work for others to see. We will be giving a free admission to any artist that wants to donate their work for display for the night. Space is limited! Anyone who does so will be allowed to sell whatever works they would like at our event. Please email [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] with the words art gallery display in the subject line. The more artists we can get the better! ***

GONZO

Gonzo is a 14 year veteran, and NYC legend who started with a group of promotors known as "Adrenalin" fueling dancefloors all across New York City, after which he earned a residency at the legendary Limelight from 1993 to 1996 thus launching his career. DJ Gonzo's unique style of spinning has made him an icon in the industry. His skills have paved the way for him to perform with such acts as "The Crystal Method" & "The Chemical Brothers" and 1997's Lollapalooza.

In 1999 he performed at "WoodStock 99" alongside Fatboy Slim, Dave Ralph and Sandra Collins to name a few. Today he is still headlining some of the best shows in NYC. Be prepared to take a trip through rave music history as this trance/techno icon plays tracks of the past, present and the future.

DREAD

In 1994, Dread recieved his first break. He performed at the Empire Strikes Back- with Djs Josh Wink, James Christian, and Reese to name a few. He has released countless promotional mixes that have taken him across the states and beyond, including some European stops! In addition to this Dread was one of the masterminds behind V.R. production which brought C.T. Legendary rave names like Bad Boy Bill, Space Girl, Terry Mullan, D.A.V.E. the Drummer, Dj Dan, Felix the Housecat and much more. With a fanbase in Europe that far overtakes his accomplishments in the states, Dread was featured in fashion magazine ELLE as well as appearing on MTV Europe! He has released 2 mixes in Eastern Europe in 2004 that sold 30,000 copies combined, an accomplishment that is rare for an American electronic artist!

JACK MC DEVITT

How could we have a show with animals and not get Jack McDevitt involved? His style of electro tech/house pioneered the way for a sound that many in the area are still trying to copy. Whether it's headlining shows at therapy, playing across the east coast or attacking small children with whiffle ball bats, he is sure to bring you a good time! Fathers lock up your daughters, wives, and babies ( he loves to eat them) Jack McDevitt is on the loose!

HOW HARD

Howhard has been a major contributor to the nyc hardcore and rave scene for years. Spending countless hours hiding away in his studio working on tracks, or doing work for his own label, Howie is a man hard at work. He has even collaborated on hardcore tracks with Delirium!

DALI

Club exit NYC resident, and founder of Groove Therapy, Dali is a very busy/prominent figure in the nyc/nj rave scene. His range of styles is unmatched by many, playing anything from house music to hard style/hardcore to drum n bass.
