Y100, South Florida’s pop contemporary radio station presents The Shelborne Events WMC08. The Shelborne Beach Resort is known for the hottest events day and night during WMC’s past years. This year, Y100 teams up and will be broadcasting live from The Shelborne March 26th through March 29, from Noon – 3pm, and from 7PM – 9PM. They will be giving away tickets, and having contests for the weeklong celebration starting March 10 and throughout the week of WMC. “Y100, is looking forward to the partnership for WMC 08 and the Shelborne pool party broadcasts, during Winter Music Conference. Us being the home of the new Dance show “SEX" makes this a perfect match." says Program Director Rod Phillips. We will be promoting the entire week with our beach patrol, and contests ads Melissa McElroy, Director of Marketing.

To further excite the public in this weeklong celebration of 13 events in 6 days, the Shelborne announces an additional pool party on Sunday March 30th. Celebrating the diversity of club music, we announce “The Ultimate Old School Pool Party” with “Common” live, Biz Markie, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Irie, Spinna, Terry Hunter, Kenny Dope, Mark Farina (mushroom jazz and hip hop set) Mike Boggie, and DJ3d and more.

All registered guests will receive complimentary admission to all events.
WMC 08 @ The Shelborne will introduce a new experience this year. The new white pool deck, a food court with BBQ, and salad and fresh fruit stations more water, soda & beer stations in the tropical garden area. Steve Dash “Integral Sound” has customized sound for the pool this year and a normal size custom DJ Booth. The hotel has gone through some renovations with the rooms, and Wi Fi will be through out the hotel by mid March in time for WMC.
