Howdy, my name is Lee & I'm from Oshkosh. I posted on the "Introduce Yourself" thread, but I wanted to say hello on this board in order to meet some people actually in my same state!

I don't know anything about raves; I'm looking to try new things. (And obviously, just have fun ) I don't have any friends who rave, so...wtf, you know?!

So does anyone have plans to attend anything upcoming?

I'm originally from Green Bay. I just moved to Madison. I'm all about raves and techno. My girlfriend and I are going to Earthdance, not really a rave, but it'll be cool. If you're ever looking for a couple people to get together with and share in the positive experience let me know. There are always extra seats in my car for when we go!

Hiya dude, good to hear from someone! I hadn't checked this site in awhile cuz I was like "bleh, whatever." But yeah, I'm extrememly excited for Earthdance; a new friend and I are going. Maybe we'll all see each other!

I lived in Madison for a year, and my new friend and I are actually heading down there tomorrow night for a Leather & Lace event at a bar. I own nothing leather or lace, but I'm pretty much up to go anywhere. Why be shy, you know?

And nothing really got me into raves. I just think it'll be fun to go. But who knows, I might not dig it, you know? But no seriously, I think I will. I don't plan on going all Kandi Kid or whatever, because that's just not how I am so that would be pretty lame, but I like loud music, lights, dancing, and drogas, so......I thought I'd probably like to rave it up a little.

hey im from milwaukee... well waukesha more so, but well go with milwaukee... ive also been looking for some type of rave scene in wi for about 6 months and havent found anything... probably cause i wasnt really looking all that hard i guess, but anyway, i think that some friends and i are going to hit up that earth dance and see what its all about... so possibly ill see you guys there

well i've never posted on here but i figured it would give it a shot, eh? kinda nice to see some other people into good music as well. i've never been to a real rave before but i definitely plan on it sooner than later. don't know how doable that is up here in gb...considering i'm probably the only scene in town i don't get out of gb much during the school year, but if anyone is ever up here or know of anything relatively nearby, i'd definitely be down for that.

I just moved from GB to Madison but go back on weekends. There's not much of a rave scene in gb, but some good dj's swing by the clubs in de pere on a pretty regular basis, and the crowd is normally straight.

if you're willing to make an hour drive south or west, stevens point has it going on, and oshkosh occasionally has some good shit too.

are you in high school or out of high school (i went to preble)

I'm through with high school, in my final year of college.

So what did you think of Earthdance? It was a lot smaller than I expected and the weather definately could have been better, but overall I had an excellent time.

anybody possibly upload pic of earthdance? I almost went...
but yeah I'm from door county and have been hard at work for the last 2.5 years+ to get a scene atarted and this last month of the summer people have been warming up to it, I think door county is really perfect for it cause its got a lot of nature and people like to party up here in the summer, in general its a very peaceful place... Cmon people lets start a scene, I know there are a lot of people who want it we just need some dedicated motivated people to get it roling...

I actually have no photos of Earthdance...um...not much of a chronicler, I suppose...

The people who put on Earthdance are planning another event at the same place for the end of May 2009, so that's cool. <www.chilluminati.org> if you want upcoming information on that.

Hey Neighbors!

I'm in Neenah, Lee! We're quite close. I'm not so much of a raver--but I LOVE festivals. I went to Fat Fest in August and it was amazing. I had no idea that these things existed until this summer, and they are very much my "thing."

I mean, people handing out rolls, hula hooping, and playing good music? What more could a person want?

Now that it's the winter I'm looking to do something similar, so I thought I'd give this rave site a try to see if there are any parties worth going to.

Hey guys. Im from waukesha also but i say milwaukee because people know where that is. Im having my b-day/costume/ halloween party next weekend between johnsons creek and madison. Theres a post about it. "Things That Go Bump In The Night." We gotta great line-up at a great venue for cheap. You guys should all come out and check it out!!!!!!!!!
