Throughout the ages mankind has moved and adapted to the changing world all the while changing the world around them. Learning how to tune into the universe man has managed to make conscious leaps in evolution. These leaps have left us with abilities setting us apart from other life on this planet. These traits include spoken language, advance visual recognition, and that which we take most for granted, a sense of rhythm. Throughout history the first to make advances are often cast out by society and referred to as freaks only to be respected and admired by later generations. As technology and the ability to obtain information increases at an ever quickening pace, we must prepare ourselves to once again make an evolutionary jump. One year ago we gathered to bring ourselves in line with the cosmic rhythms and sent a message out into the universe that we are ready to advance. Now we come together to receive the response.

yeah man, that was the lineup from last year. I was there man. fucking amazing. that was the first party I've ever been to man. I saw infected mushroom, met Paladin 5.1, sat in front of the wall of sound. It's definitely worth the trip. the only problem is that there insn't really running water or bathrooms, so I would reccomend getting a hotel room in a nearby town.

I would personally like to see more Psy Trance played at this party. I mean, I like DnB as much as the next person, but psy trance man. It's the shit. all you midwest ravers, check out any event by the chilluminati, touch samadhi, psymbolic, audiognomes, mindoutpsyde. They know what I'm talkin, about. Psy is where it's at.

i'm much more excited about this lineup. last year was great, this year will be astronomical. i love how these guys are all about the live acts. jackal & hyde is one of the coolest live sets you'll ever hear from what i'm told, aphrodite rocked it big time at love fest 06 in San Francisco, skylab is always a phenomenal show & i haven't seen them in 6 or 7 years, i'm totally stoked to see uberzone and keith mckenzie for the first time.... boo on the dj funk though! i'm getting sick of complaining about people booking him. he sucks!!!! everyone else on the lineup is badass! when is full info coming out?

Because The Caveman Experience has been cancelled for the summer, we are helping Madison House and Peak Experience Productions with their premiere summer campout event at Zoe.

There is a DJ tent for the weekend, and there will be a BIG ass party on Saturday night. The DJ tent will run all weekend tho. Some of the EDM talent already confirmed are:

The Roots
Innovative Philly hip hop crew The Roots bring their high energy, in-the-pocket live show to Big Summer Classic! Originally composed of Black Thought (MC vocals) and ?uestlove (drums), The Roots soon added Malik B. (MC vocals), Kamal (keyboard), Hub (bass guitar) and Rahzel (beatboxing) and earned themselves a devoted and respectable fanbase in Philadelphia – and for good reason. Best known for their thought provoking lyrics, upbeat vibe, and slamming live instrumentation, the band’s latest album, Game Theory, was released on Def Jam in April 2006.

Infected Mushroom
Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani (aka Duvdev)—has been the leading group within the global psy-trance scene for nearly a decade. Incorporating pumping, bad-ass grooves and infectious melodies and live instruments and vocals into their songs, they’ve performed live—a feat that many of their DJ peers aspire to accomplish—for well over a million people around the globe. The band’s energetic live show has triumphed at some of the world’s biggest and most important music and their success as an electronic music band on the global concert circuit has translated into record sales in excess of 150,000 albums. Not bad for two guys from Haifa who started producing music mostly to escape boredom.

The brainchild of Lorin Ashton, Bassnectar is an experimentally collaborative music project, but it’s also a platform for social change and political awareness. It’s stylistically specific, yet it’s an eclectic, full spectrum adventure. For Bassnectar’s new release, Underground Communication (Om Records/May 8, 2007), Bassnectar takes another step forward in his genre-bending blend of musical styles and emotions, combining the visceral melodic presence of modern listening music, with the force and volume of sound system dancefloor devastation.

EOTO
EOTO features Michael Travis (guitar, bass, keyboards, hand-percussion, live mix manipulation) who has spent over a decade as the driving percussive force in the nationally popular band, The String Cheese Incident. Travis continues to be an innovator of improvisational drumming, managing to play hand percussion and/or melodies while simultaneously keeping incredible time with the kit. In EOTO, Travis plays mostly guitar and bass. He’s joined by fellow String Cheese percussionist Jason Hann, who became a permanent member of SCI in 2005.

I think I smoke too much because I'm confused. Was this event rescheduled or are there two events? I see too different flyiers but at the same location. I wanted to know so that I could the time off from work. Also if anyone is planning on going to this event from Chicago maybe we could carpool.
