raves in iowa

there are no raves in iowa. i know, i know, this statement is made all the time. i think most people forget that iowa even had a scene for raves. but it did at some point cause i know i'd been to quite a few over the last three-four years. problem is my friend luke trainer was the one who tended to know when and where something was happening. but he past away and now people are asking me when and where raves are happening in iowa/des moines/ames and so on. but i've been out of the loop for so long and the promoters here in iowa cancell and move/relocate up to the last moment and it is hard to find anything. so i came to this site to see if there was a way to find out anything. i think this where luke used go for discussions and rave info and so on. hell, the last rave(a legit rave, not just dj's spinning) i went to was halloween of last year and it was down in the east village or whatever they are calling it. so i'm out here looking for info, links, emails, flyers and people pretaining to what is in the iowa rave scene, if exsists at all anymore. i don't drive so it's hard for me to get to places like iowa city and council bluffs. but that's where meeting people comes in. so any helpful info will be much appreciated and used to it's full capacity. i will be around on this as often as possible.

I-80 East through Omaha and over the bridge into Iowa. Road links up to I-29 North. Stay on I-29 (approximately 6 miles) then take the Crescent Exit. Take right at Exit and follow road until you come to a Philips 66 gas station and a T-Intersection. Turn right at intersection and follow road for approximately 4 miles, it’s on your right hand-side.

Des Moines & Ames Directions:

yo im from the Iowa scene and now aminthe LA Scene! and Iowa is great no matter what! the midwest cares about the music! MOST (not ALL) people our here are way more worried about their hair or who parties harder or some stupid shit like that!. just keep doin it cuz you love the music! keep your promoters in check and dont get caught up! its all about music first everything else is only great because the music sets the tone!
