Myspace = place for friends Facebook = networking It's more of a college student thing to network with other students. Later in life when you need to know these people hopefully they took their education and career to a higher level you know them. You can ask them for anyone they know to get to some new connections. Problem is that Myspace is more for the high school younger crowd, even though there are many adults on it. What surpises me is that all the stuff that high school kids get out of myspace with all the drama and gossip could go around so much quicker on facebook. Facebook is a hell of a lot noisier about everything and easier to track what all of your friends do. I don't even have to go look at your profile to read your comments just look at my own home page. So it kinda confuses me that Facebook has caught on a little more. But it's good that it remains more of a networking tool than just a way of keeping in touch with long lost friends. But it's getting to the point where I use both the same way... |

Scene kids will never take over. People like me (the metal heads and ravers) will beat them down. I'm sorry, but I do NOT want a president wearing tight stretchy pants with no ass pockets. Oh, and the hair over one eye, and his nails painted black, and a diary about how his life sucks (even as president), and a live journal to post about all of his horrible days dealing with our gas dependency. Nope. I'll slaughter them all. That is, if they even make it much longer. The scene kid's scene is dying quick. Same goes for all of the "ghetto from the hood reppin the 408 (YOU'RE IN FUCKING SUNNYVALE! YOU AREN'T A BAD ASS!%@#$#^&)" people who wear shirts that are 20 sizes too big, pants that show off their nuts from behind when they're walking, and ridiculously priced shoes that are more important then their car. NO. WRONG. Your rims do NOT help gas milage and do NOT look cool. They automatically classify you as either mexican or black. -TC |

thats a bit closed minded isnt it tc? i mean ravers are supposed to accept all kinds of backgrounds and styles and shit.
but if their attitude sucks go ahead and kick their ass and i think scene fashion is kinda cute, kinda a mix between glam rock, some 80s stuff, and emo. Last edited by prematurecstasyboi; 14.5.2008 at 7:59 pm. Reason: i always get more to say after i post |
