Woodstock Make-up Party?

im just gonna add one more thing to this thread.

it takes more then commen sense to throw a rave it also takes a big chunk of money

if you wanna spend the amount it takes to get a venue, pay djs, get security, promote, make decorations, and buy all the other various things that go along with throwing a party then i say you should go for it.

don't take it too seriously, it was mostly just sum of us afterward got to talking and i said, "if you had to give it a grade.."

I don't think they owe us anything. It was sad it got shut down. But it was kick ass until that point. If they want to make up for it getting shut down at all the most they should really do is give us a few bucks off the tickets to their next party...and some more decorations. back room was great tho!

I would pay extra for a rave to be at the lift venue, its a good venue that wouldn't get shut down. I don't think I'd ever go to cellspace ever again just because its a huge buzz kill when it ends 2 hours early. the music stopped at midnight, maybe a littler later.. it was suppose to end at 4am. Someone said earlier it was suppose to end at 2am?? well that would be fucked up if they lied about it ending at 4am when they were really planning on it ending at 2am?

when has connected EVER DONE THAT? LOL THEY ARENT LIKE OTHER PRODUCTION COMPANIES! i saw them up front when the fire alarm went off and they seriously ALL did not know what was going on and we're trying to fix it asap. connected = GOOD PEOPLE. i don't think they would lie. parties at that venue have gone ALL night before. it's not like the crackhouse where you basically know its going to end at 2.

I know it wasn't connecteds fault that it got shut down, but something better should have been planned with the smoking. Smoking was allowed in the back enclosed room when of course the smoke is going to come into the front room and eventually make the alarm go off.

SHIT HAPPENS. doesn't mean they should have to throw another party just because one person didn't have fun, didn't get their early enough, and obviously didn't buy presales. maybe you should have better planned out the way YOU got to the rave and then maybe YOU would of been satisfied. BUY PRESALES WHEN THEY FIRST GO ON SALE [$10 FOR THIS PARTY], & ARRIVE EARLY.
