Why can't people argue and debate?

Today's drama thread is an excellent example of the lack of skill people have at arguing their point (or even having a point.)

Regardless of if the argument has merit, why do you try to resort to name calling and threats of violence (in some cases) to try and force your point?

If someone brings up a list of things you do that they dont agree with, why not address those things instead of trying to discredit the person complaining?

I have never resorted to violence. I'm reverting to the ridiculous b/c that's what this whole thing has become. Read my first response then read my last. I made an attempt to reason. But they're incapable of communicating on a reasonble level. So they get the shuck and jive....

I dunno Adam - looking at their replies and yours, (with the except of Mobber who just wanted to talk shit, which is fine) both Chunky and Dead Baby articulated their concerns.

You just called them hypocrites and didnt address what they said. I understand you dont take this seriously, I didnt take stuff like this seriously when I threw parties either. But no reply is a lot better than feeding the dramas if you want it to go away.

My arguement pretty much described the attitudes and demeanor of him and his little band of hatemongers. I guess I struck a nerve b/c this waste of space and his guild of keyboard commandos actually put down the Video Games for a second to come hate on me. How touching. Please bear in mind that the majority of these hatefull little creatures consist of people that used to party and don't anymore. For one reason or another. Such as ChunkyLover53 aka BGB (Big Gay Brian) This fuckin idiot was put on blast for being on too many pills and caught masturbating in the Dungeon a few years back. (talk about tools) It's like the ex-smoker that stands on their soap box preaching how wrong it is to smoke when in the back of their minds they just want on more drag. Pathetic IMO.

Now lets talk about intentions. Is it more or less irresponsible to have a bunch of kids on drugs under a bridge, or in a permitted venue with an EMT on staff? I feel the answer is fairly obvious. People talkin about being in it for the $$ when they aren't about to drop 5 grand on a venue, or fly in headliners, or pay for security for that matter. Not that I'm hatin on renegades. I've thrown my share. I'm just aware of the dangers and liabilities now so I only throw permitted shows to ensure:

A: The party people get what they paid for. (no Shutdowns)

B: Should something bad happen ie. O.D. or fight. I can call the appropriate authorities and not have to explain what I'm doing.

The sad part is that these people make blind accusations when they have no idea what they are talking about. They really should just complete the transformation and vote republican. B/c Love Allstars and Plurnation is a family run operation. Start to finish. It consists of myself, my sister, her boyfriend, my girl friend, as well as our circle of friends. So that rules out throwin parties for the under age tang doesn't it? It's ridiculous that these people need drama in their lives to feel complete. Look at there posts. Count the positive insightful comments, then count the deraugatory. Guess which on will be higher.

The good news is they really don't matter at all. I care more about stepping in gum on the sidewalk than I care about this collective bag of ass reeking of jealousy and malcontent. If you don't like the way we throw shows, don't patronize our event. Our better yet try throwin some of your own parties and show me how it's done. I'll give you a hint. Start with $10,000 minimum, find a permitted venue, convince them to let you throw a show, book your headliners, plane tickets hotels, design and print fliers, go out every single weekend to every single party for 3 months, spend countless hours making props and decorations, spend your whole day setting up the show, spend your whole night putting out fires(even during your time-slot) and talking to police. Hopefully sometime in the night you'll be able to spend some time on the stage watching a shit load of people have a really good time. That's why I throw parties right there. I love watching a phat crowd rockin out. It could be any genre b/c I love em all.

Now let's talk about talent. Every single person that has talked shit about djs in this thread does not spin records. So your criticism is laughable. Get yourself some turntables pratice for a few years then come talk to me. I'll still burn you on the decks and the mic. nuff said.

Now let's talk about cartoons. I know I'm the first person to market nostalgia but I thought I'd give it a shot.(sarcasm) Srsly I love watchin the Flintstones and the Jetsons when I was a kid. In fact I still watch it. In case your didn't realize that raves are supposed to be fun!

Now lets talk about all age parties. I throw both 18+ and all ages. Why? b/c kids need a place to party and be social too. When I was 16 going to Homebase and 2nd&Jackson every weekend. I learned that there is huge community that in a lot of respects is a big family. It's our job as "the big kids" to show the youngsters how to do it responsibly. I find the best way is to lead by example. I don't take drugs at parties, I used to. I'm sure not going to talk shit on people for excercising the right to the pursuit of happiness. So in that respect shame on you for being a jaded hypocrite.

It frustrates me to feel obligated to explain your stupidity to the raving public. B/c I really don't feel you even deserve a response. But I also feel that if the raving public is going to have to endure your douche baggery than they should at least have some back ground on your sorry asses.

So in conclusion stop shaking your finger at us with all your high and mighty talk. Take that finger and stick it up your ass. If you don't like our parties, don't attend and throw your on parties. PLUR BITCHES!!!
