Whole Earth Festival 2007

Free event in Davis in May. It's truly a convergence. There is a DJ stage where people such as

have shown up in the past.

I think I'm getting [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to do a live psytrance performance there this year (If I can coordinate it right) but the lineup is still not certain yet (and not managed by me)

The vision of a man performing poetry to a saxaphone as he walked effortlessly through the audience that I was lucky enough to be in, in 2001, is still fresh in my mind. I know I'll see him again this year, at the whole earth festival, as I have every year since then and I know he'll remember me.

A friend of mine flew out from New York last year just to attend this. It's truly a magical event that every year has gifted me with new understandings and shown me new meaning for my life.

Their is always a massive after party (~2000

on saturday that quite literally, fills this area

Last year their were 6 stages. Three in three houses and three outside. The party went on until well after sunrise. This explains why the DJ stage back at the festival was empty at 9:30 AM.

Anyway, show up ... street pharmacists are widely available at the event in case you are wondering.
