uhm....well i would have to disagree....if anything i think "e" is better than alcohol for the mere reason that when your under the influence of alcohol you cease to have nay real control of your actions....its like your not fully there and u loose the ability to make rational decisions....when ur on e i feel like ur in a heightened state of mind, but ur still there, ur still equipped (for the most part) to make rational and logical decisions

..well this is just from experience....i have never done aything stupid that i regret on "e"...but i have said and done many stupid things when drunk...and have hurt one too many friends this way!

Well everyone has the right to their own preferences, if one likes one thing better thats fine. My personal opinions are:

1) I HATE hangovers. Days after E is way more tolerable (especially with some 5-HTP)
2) So much violence has been caused by alcohol. I have seen many non-violent people become violent when they got too drunk E makes people nice. The only people who act violent on E are people who are already violent by their own nature, its not the drug that makes them do it.
3) E is more of a feeling of connection with other, a feeling that everyone is one with a community. I find alcohol to be more of a personal, self centered drug.
4) Alcohol is the only drug I have ever done where I have thought to myself "I'm too fucked up right now, I don't want to be this fucked up anymore."
5) I find that E is more of drug that makes you feel. I think Alcohol is more of a numbing drug.
6) Throwing up fucking sucks, it is the worst feeling to be drunk and puking my guts out.

But in alcohols defense it is something that that one is able to do more often, I like E a million times better, but that doesn't mean I will always pop a pill rather than drink. I only roll at parties.

But hey of you want to get drunk at parties, no problem its not like theres a "right way" to party.

TOTALLY agree. personally i NEVER drink(just not my thing and for above reasons....although i am generally cool with other people doing so - so don't get mad at me for my preferences!)

i would also have to say that there are other substances that can be fun at parties too - not just e....just throwing that out there

yeah i wasnt even trying to have a discussion about alcohol vs. E, i was tyring to respond to the thread in which people were complaining about not being able to drink at ETD pop.

BTW, alcohol is a disgrace, only IMHO of course (which means nothing to you, right?), E is a much better drug

If they want booze, they should befriend some 21+ peeps and have them buy it for them. Or if you think you're sly, sneak in a bottle of some Remy Martin, Jack, Bacardi, Grand Mariner, etc. Option B may be harder, but it can be done.
