It depends...if I'm rolling I get eDD pretty bad (that's ADD on e) so I'm constantly wandering. Although for POP I'm pretty sure I'm gonna try to get as close as possible in the trance room.

orbital faces are very odd. i noticed this, because most everyone does this exact same face (maybe you too! i'll have to watch closely next time...)

when they pull the orbital taught, they either like bite their lip or make this odd strained face, and when it's loose again their face relaxes. they do it over and over. it's hilarious.

seriously, next time you see someone playing with one, pay attention to their face...

oh, and to answer the question, it varies. sometimes i like to chill and watch the whole thing happen. pick a good observation point and observe and talk to the rolled out kids in the corner/on the couch/on the floor. unless i'm really feeling the music, then i dance. or unless i'm rolling balls, then i do everything at once. but that's quite unfulfilling, so i don't do that very often.

at a big enough event, i like to just go into the center of the crowd and rock out. that's what "rave" feels like for me. like at etd love, i spent a good while just submerged in the crowd. and that's prolly what i'll want to do at pop. be in the middle of everything. mhmm.
